For more than eight years, I have been dedicated to teaching and tutoring, with a core mission to help students grow in confidence as readers, writers, and thinkers. In the IB Diploma Programme, I teach English B and Theory of Knowledge, and I also have the pleasure of supporting learners as an Extended Essay advisor. My experience is focused on working closely with students aged 14–17, helping them develop not only their language skills but also their critical perspectives for academic success. I am passionate about using visible thinking routines and inquiry-based strategies in my sessions, as they spark curiosity and encourage students to build meaningful connections across all their subjects.
I am an attentive and empathetic tutor who focuses on guiding students through the unique challenges of the IB Programme, with a special emphasis on Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and English B. I believe that true success in the IB comes from aligning its core philosophy with a student’s personal learning style. My approach is to identify and build upon a student’s existing strengths, fostering the critical metacognition and analytical skills they need. This not only prepares them for their assessments but also empowers them to grow into the inquisitive, globally-minded citizens the IB aims to develop.
