Jason is a seasoned educator and administrator with over 20 years of experience. He is a teacher of English Language and Literature, as well as an examiner for the International Baccalaureate (IB). He has also served as a Diploma Coordinator and Extended Essay (EE) Coordinator.

He received his Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education from Acadia University in Canada, with a focus on Secondary English. Bogart has a passion for helping students navigate academic challenges, and has written articles on topics such as finding a topic for the IB Extended Essay and understanding the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) in everyday life.

For over five years, I’ve specialized in online tutoring, primarily focusing on IB English A, Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and the Extended Essay (EE). This virtual experience has allowed me to connect with students worldwide, providing targeted support for these challenging aspects of the IB Diploma.  I am also an IBDP English A and EE examiner.

I’ve guided numerous students through the complexities of literary analysis for English A, helping them craft compelling essays and prepare for their orals. For TOK, my online sessions have focused on breaking down complex concepts, helping students make real-world connections and structure their essays and presentations effectively.

The Extended Essay is a major part of my work; I’ve assisted students in navigating every step, from selecting a viable research question to structuring their argument and refining their final draft. Through screen-sharing and collaborative tools, I’ve created a dynamic and personalized learning environment that helps students not just pass, but excel in these critical components of their IB journey.
