As a teacher and coordinator, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that both students face with the
IB Diploma Programme. I noticed that students are often stretched thin, and not always having
the support they need.
My observations led to the founding of Corestone Tutors to address these five key issues:
Students need personalized help: Many students crave one-on-one support with their IAs, EEs, and TOK, but it isn’t always available.
Assessment confusion: Students and even some teachers are not always clear on the rubrics and course layouts.
Teacher burnout: The administrative burden at many schools leaves teachers with less time to provide the in-depth support students need.
Inadequate university counseling: Students often feel lost and under-supported when it comes to planning their next steps and applying to university.
Lack of timely feedback: Students need fast, accurate feedback on their work and a clear picture of their predicted grades, which sometimes can be vague and ambiguous.
That’s why our team at Corestone Tutors is committed to providing a solution. We focus 100% on providing personalized, expert-led support. Our entire team is made up of IB-trained teachers and examiners who are passionate about the Diploma Programme.
